Swelling after a procedure is normal. It is the body sending fluid and immune cells to the area to heal it. Lymphatic drainage does not rush that process; it helps the fluid leave once it has done its job.
First, get cleared
We only work with post-procedure clients who have their provider's go-ahead, and we follow any restrictions they set. Bring your aftercare instructions to the consultation. If your surgeon prefers manual-only drainage for the first weeks, we will tell you honestly whether our sessions fit.
When people usually start
Timing depends on the procedure and your provider, but many clients begin gentle sessions two to four weeks out, once incisions are closed and the initial inflammation has calmed.
What a post-procedure session looks like
- Lighter pressure than a standard session, working around, not over, the treated area at first.
- Shorter sessions to begin, often 30 to 45 minutes.
- Clear direction of flow toward the nearest lymph nodes.
- No heat on the treated area until your provider says so.
What to avoid
Deep pressure, heat over incisions, and anything that hurts. Discomfort is a stop signal, not a sign it is working.
Between sessions
Walk gently, drink water, wear any compression garments you were given, and sleep with the treated area slightly elevated if your provider recommends it.

Ozone sauna and lymphatic therapy are wellness services. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and results vary from person to person. Talk with your healthcare provider before starting any wellness program, especially if you are pregnant, have a heart condition, or are under treatment for a serious illness.
Questions
How soon after surgery can I have lymphatic drainage?
Only when your surgeon or provider clears you. Many clients start gentle sessions two to four weeks after a procedure, but your provider's timeline comes first.
Can I do the ozone sauna after surgery?
Not until your provider approves heat. We keep post-procedure sessions to gentle lymphatic work only.
